The LNFI PTO strengthens and supports educational, enrichment, and extra-curricular opportunities for LNFI students — including native French-speaking interns that assist in the classroom; direct funding of resources for students, teachers, and classrooms; and community- building school and social events. For more information about the PTO's budget, please click here. Our budget for the 2018-19 school year is approximately $59,900 dollars. Our fundraising goal for the year is $57,500 dollars. This is the amount we think we can realistically raise, but we will need to raise more in the future to keep the same level of programming and interns. To raise these funds and accomplish our work, the PTO relies on contributions from families, faculty, and the larger LNFI community. There are lots of ways to contribute — pick some that work for you and make a difference for LNFI students today!
Direct DonationsFunding native French speaking interns, which is funded solely by the families of LNFI, is an investment per student of about $120 per year or $10.00 per student per month. To minimize alternative fundraising, the PTO requests that each family make a donation to help continue providing this resource for your children. You can make a donation by clicking on the PayPal link or GiveMN link below. Both links allow for one-time or recurring donations. Why two options? PayPal costs a bit less (i.e., the PTO keeps more of your donation with PayPal), but GiveMN is the hometown team. So, take your pick. Both are good options. You can also make a direct donation by sending cash or a check (payable to "LNFI PTO") in a marked envelope to school with your child. The LNFI PTO is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. Donations are tax-deductible.
