About Our School – L’Etoile du Nord French Immersion (LNFI) is a public (free) pre-k through fifth grade school on the East Side of St. Paul. Pre-K through first grade is in one building, and second through fifth grades are in another building about a mile away. LNFI is part of the St. Paul Public School system. Because LNFI is an immersion school, bussing is available for all students who live in St. Paul.
